Evolution Can Be A Deliberate Process
If you are reading this page, we know you have already seen our logo. We at Measday Land Surveying & Mapping are proud of our logo and all that it signifies. As with everything we do, we took our time and made sure we got it right. We fashioned a logo that really means something.
Our founder and president, Scott Measday, has established this company based on three elemental principles: Knowledge, Experience, & Logic. The three map pins in our logo represent those three elements. Just as the triangle is commonly regarded as one of the strongest structural components in nature, we believe the triad of our core ideals adds strength to our company, sets a course for where we are going, and defines how we intend to get there.
Knowledge is where it all begins: This learning, or acquisition of knowledge, is a pre-requisite for anyone determined to become a professional land surveyor. This knowledge allows us to become licensed and certified, making it possible to assist our clients. Our firm belief is that sharing this knowledge freely within our professional family is the best way to meet the challenges of the future.
Experience is both what we have gained and what we pursue. It is the essential extension of knowledge acquisition. The practical day-to-day experience we bring is necessary as it allows us to offer the most up-to-date products and services, utilizing the most up-to-date equipment and logical processes.
Logic is what we employ when making our decisions about what to do and how to do it. We recognize there are diverse individual stakeholders in this endeavor, and we must consider each stakeholder's needs. Furthermore, we know that engineering a balanced, “win-win” outcome is not only possible but mandatory if we are to succeed in a competitive environment. For example, we have learned that taking diligent care of our employees is an act of proactively caring for our clients as well. For this reason, we go to lengths to deal fairly with all parties involved.
Determination. Moving Forward. Deliberate Progress. We wanted to let the world know we find no time for standing still. Acknowledging that not all motion is progress, we wanted to denote a forward momentum, yes, but with purpose and forethought as well.
We find the dynamic qualities of The Measday Swoosh to be an inspiration, and we hope you will appreciate our efforts to remain current — at a minimum — and more often lead the way when it comes to innovation in our field of work. Onward and upward, as they say, is the direction indicated and the direction we will follow.
Measday Land Surveying & Mapping has accomplished a major re-tooling of our professional lives — a reboot, so to speak, that will allow room for the progress we are instituting, that which will allow us to better serve the community.
We look forward to doing business with you!
